struggling emotionally

As the mom of an adult neurodivergent child, my emotions are all over the place. I love my son, but it's not always easy. Some days, I'm overwhelmed with worry about his future; other days, I'm filled with pride over his accomplishments. It's a constant rollercoaster of highs and lows. It's tough watching him struggle with things that seem simple for others. I often feel sad, frustrated, and worried about his safety and happiness. The emotional toll of advocating for him and facing society's lack of understanding can be draining. But then there are moments of joy when he surprises me with his resilience or achieves something new. These moments are what keep me going. If you're in a similar situation, remember it's okay to feel overwhelmed and seek support. Take care of your own emotional health, and don't hesitate to ask for help. We're all in this together.
